Self-control comes easier for some than others, no doubt. There are a lot of factors when it comes to keeping those resolutions, and we need to keep it simple.
Here is the list of strategies I will be using this year to live better.
- Make specific and realistic resolutions. Instead of resolving to “lose weight,” try resolving to “exercise three times a week” or “cut out sugary drinks.”
- Write down your resolutions. Seeing your resolutions in writing can help you stay accountable and motivated.
- Tell someone about your resolutions. Sharing your resolutions with a friend, family member, or accountability partner can provide support and encouragement.
- Keep track of your progress. Seeing the progress you’ve made can help keep you motivated and encourage you to continue working towards your goals.
- Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s okay to slip up or have setbacks. The important thing is to get back on track and keep working towards your goals.
- Find ways to make your resolutions a part of your routine. Incorporating your resolutions into your daily or weekly routine can make them feel more manageable and easier to stick to.
- Reward yourself for making progress. Celebrating small victories along the way can help you stay motivated and feel good about the progress you’re making.
Ok, Lord… I am going to need your help.
