13 Year Old Buys a Car For His Mom, and Our Hearts Are Melting

This story goes to show that where there is a will, there is a way.

Nevada boy, William Preston, who makes a little money in the community by doing housework and yard work, understood his mother’s single mother struggle. It was especially difficult due to their lack of transportation.

The 13 year old with a huge heart began searching for a car, and found a 99 Chevy Metro for sale. He contacted the owner, and asked if he could trade or work for it. After some negotiation, she agreed.

The two of them rode to the boy’s home, where he ran in to tell his mom that he got her a car.

“I lost it, I bawled. I was just like, there’s no way,” Krystal said. “And then she gave me the keys and the paperwork.”

Even with a few quirks and a little work needed, Krystal says the car is perfect.

“The fact that my kid did this, I’m proud, but as a mom I’m supposed to be able to take care of my kids. I’m supposed to do this, not the other way around,” Krystal said.
